Thanks for visiting the Bula Botanicals website. I’m Carolyn O’Neill, founder, Certified Aromatherapist and Practicing Herbalist. I’ve been studying with Aromahead Institute, The Herbal Academy, The Tisserand Institute and many other mentors to develop a wealth of knowledge and expertise in helping others to live a more natural life.
When you inhale the essence of a plant or flower, there is no faking your body’s reaction to it. It affects you . . . immediately and can affect you in a very deep and profound way.
This is the impact essential oils had on me when I was introduced to aromatherapy twenty years ago. Since that moment of connection with this ancient practice, I committed passionately to learning about essential oils and sharing their tremendous healing powers with as many people as possible.Now, I’ve dedicated my life to the art & science of aromatherapy and herbalism. It’s been a challenging journey on many levels, but profoundly meaningful—and for me there was no turning back.
My Passion
As an NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist, I am able to work with people from 3 months old to 90+, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing through aromatherapy. But my great passion is helping others to be more energetic, healthy and pain free and sharing this knowledge so that they will continue the journey to better health. We are all confronted with tremendous challenges at times in our life and finding tools that help us shift our energy from how we are feeling towards how we WANT to feel and WANT to live, is essential.
Studying Aromatherapy at Aromahead Institute and becoming certified as a “NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist” (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapists) enables me to assess which essential oils will be most beneficial for my customers, create custom aromatherapy products and essential oil blends, taking into consideration age, health history, medications the customer may be taking, any sensitivities that have to be considered, and overall health goals.
My Work
Designing custom aromatherapy products to support emotional and physical wellbeing is one of my greatest passions. Customers receive personalized products that make lifestyle changes easy, effective and affordable. Personal wellness plans offer guidance and tips regarding best application methods and routines. When you work with me, you’ll learn to take breaks and switch things up, making the use of essential oils safer, more effective, and seamless — working towards the overall goal of creating lasting changes.
Each one of our products is made with the intention to uplift you. From the scents and its scientific benefits to the names of each product and the words of motivation, love, and wisdom in it. Intended products are an invitation to live in perfect symphony with nature and the creator of all things.
Our aromatic oils are carefully selected and blended based on scientific information from each essential oil for effective and enhanced mind and body well-being.
Aromatherapy is not only about smell – it’s also about the therapeutic properties of the oils. The aroma of the oils and the absorption into the skin, is a fantastic way to relieve stresses of everyday life, boost the immune system and generally help your body to combat infection, relax sore muscles, relieve pain, and skin problems among other things.

The first step – we will have a client consultation where we will talk through elements of your daily lifestyle including stress triggers, allergies, any medical issues you may be experiencing, your sleep patterns, diet and exercise regimes. This is in order for me to get a full, holistic overview of your life in order to be in the best possible position to treat you.
